The landscape photos on this site are primarily for the adventure traveler, hiker, trekker, or anyone just interested in photos and photography. The goal is to provide potential travelers with an idea of the types of landscapes and people they will encounter. The photos here include an assortment of photos of people from many cultures around the world as well as landscape photos from around the world. My landscape and people photos come from many states around the United States, and from over 20 countries around the world. I also have a wide assortment of nature photos including wildlife and flowers. Many of these are macro photos of insects and macro photos of flowers. There is also an assortment of other topics covered on this website including aviation photography and abstract photography. It's all here just for the pleasure of browsing. photography. The photos in this gallery have come from Peru, Bolivia, Venezuela, Amsterdam, and
the U.S. Many of the images in this gallery are a bit unusual - fitting in a category I describe
as insect portraits and frog portraits. These are macro and close-up photos of insect faces and

I also enjoy abstract photography
and digital manipulation of some photos. Some of the images in my
abstract gallery are pure unaltered photographs of abstract images, others are highly
modified and manipulated for artistic affects. You might like or hate these, but hopefully you won't

Military aircraft buffs might enjoy my gallery of Aviation. I have a number of photos of military aircraft, particularly World War II vintage aircraft photographed in flight. These include photos of B-17s, B-25s, A-10s, Messerschmitts, and a number of fighter planes in formation. Included in this gallery also are photos of hot-air balloons. |
