Although this Praying Mantis lived in the wild, it became something of a pet. It seemed to pose for photos every time I showed up with camera and tripod.

This Praying Mantis lives in my neighbor's garden. It was not the least bit afraid of humans and didn't appear to be frightened when approached quite closely with my camera and tripod.
