The photos on this page were taken at a number of different cathedrals of Spain in 2012. Many are from cities,
towns and villages in the areas surrounding Baeza, Caceres, and Vejer de la Frontera, from where the explorations
leading to these photos started. Many of the villages
surrounding these cities still have some or much of the medieval fortifications that date back to the 13th and
14th century. All of these villages are beautiful, interesting, clean and safe and a sheer pleasure to visit. The landscape
throughout Spain is also dotted with ancient castles. Many of these stained glass windows are hundreds of years old. See
