Aix En Provence is a vibrant, modern city with an active night life. Don't expect to park in the city after dark without a hassle. The city's bars and
restaurants do a roaring business. It is where Cezanne was born and his work here remains immensely popular. The city's main thoroughfare is
the popular and nearly famous Cours Mirabeaux, which is an attractive tree-lined avenue. If visiting Aix En Provence, I recommend watching everywhere
for beautifully carved wooden doors. If the city is not famous for these, it well should be. There are many that are extremely intricate and attractive.
