Alet les Bains is an ancient town that dates to the time of the Romans. Now, it is best known for the remains of an Abbey
that was established in the 800's AD. The church of St. Andrews beside it was built in the 1600's. The town also has many good examples
of medieval architecture, making it a pleasant place to browse old narrow streets. The timbered homes reveal enormous wooden
