Arizona scenery is some of the best in the American Southwest.
My gallery includes Arizona scenics from Antelope Canyon - a slot canyon near Page, Arizona. Antelope Canyon is considered one of the most
beautiful slot canyons in the world. This site also has photos of Saguaro National Park, home to more of the giant Saguaro Cactus than
anywhere else in the world. The Wave in Coyote Buttes, part of the Vermillion Cliffs Recreational Area, and the slot canyon of Buckskin Gulch
are also here, although they are technically just inside the Utah border from Arizona. The slot canyon of Buckskin Gulch is also in Coyote Buttes,
and is one of the longest slot canyons in the world.

Coyote Buttes #250 Throughout Coyote Buttes there aren't really specific hiking trails. And this is as it should be because the area is so beautiful, it's best to just wander and explore and discover all of the nooks and crannies of colorful, textured, and wonderfully shaped sandstone. |
Antelope Canyon #2 Antelope Canyon is a beautiful slot canyon located on Navajo land just outside of Page, Arizona. Flash floods have sculpted the canyon walls into smoothly curved undulating shapes that together with their color produce stunning scenes. |
Antelope Canyon #9 The sunlight bounces back and forth off of the close-spaced red sandstone walls of Antelope Canyon to that by the time the light reaches the bottom, it has taken on a deep reddish-orange color. If you're a photographer, bring your tripod. Exposure times for these photographs are frequently 30 seconds and longer. |

Chiracahua #6508 Chiracahua National Monument is about 150 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona. |
Chiracahua #6616 Chiracahua National Monument is full of large, eroded rock formations. |
Chiracahua #6632 Chiracahua National Monument is at a relatively high elevation, consequently, the weather here can be downright cold in winter. The visitor center is located at 5400 feet and other parts of the park are higher. |

Grand Canyon #195 This is a view of the Grand Canyon's south rim in winter. Even though the South Rim is considerably lower in altitude than the North Rim, winter still routinely brings snow and ice to the South Rim. Crampons are often required for safe hiking into the canyon in winter. |
Grand Canyon #7 This is a morning view from the south rim of the Grand Canyon. |
Grand Canyon #23 A winter view of the Grand Canyon in Arizona. |
