There’s tremendous diversity of color, behavior, size, and shape in the bird world. The Andean Condor almost never flaps its
wings whereas the Hummingbird flaps its wings perhaps 70 times per second. The Roadrunner loves running over desert sand and
the Great Blue Heron wading in water. There’s the chubby quail and the long-necked Egret. And consider the short seed-crunching
bill of the Goldfinch and the long, curved bill of the Ibis. All this and so many different colors, too.
This small collection of bird photos were taken in both North and South America. Most are of birds near my Michigan and Utah homes.
