| Ottawa is the capital of Canada. The Parliament Hill area has all of the interesting architecture of the government buildings as well as the beautiful Chateau Laurier. The city also has miles and miles of green parks that line the Ottawa River. Quebec is one of the oldest cities in North America and the old portion of the city is still enclosed in the original fortification walls. It has a very fun and interesting European ambience. Montreal is Canada's second largest city and is also the world's second largest French speaking city - second only to Paris. | These photos of Canada were taken in July of 2009 during a tour of Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec. Each of these are vibrant, fun cities with beautiful architecture, great restaurants and cafes, and interesting street scenes.
