Lassen Volcanic National Park is located in north central California. The park is situated at relatively high altitude and
becomes entirely snowbound in winter, with remnants of snow remaining well into summer. The park has hikes up to the peak of
Lassen Volcano and through regions of thermal vents reminiscent of Yellowstone.
