Napa Valley is THE place in the US to visit vineyards and wineries. Many of the famous wineries there offer more than just wine, e.g. small collections of art and pleasant scenery. Most of the wineries open for tours in Napa Valley will escort visitors into their keg storage facilities and show the visitors the entire process of making wine - from growing and picking grapes, to bottling the product.
