In the Himalayas of Nepal, it’s possible to trek from village to
village and see people living under conditions that have remained virtually
unchanged for centuries. The photos here are from a teahouse trek
to and beyond Langtang, Nepal to Kyangin Gompa and the Langshisha
glacier at roughly 5,200 meters elevation in the Himalaya Mountains.
On this page there are also photographs of people in Kathmandu.
