The Ohio attractions I've included on this website include Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio, a little known gem of scenic beauty in the midwestern US, Schedel Arboretum and Gardens in Elmore, Ohio, and the wildlife of Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge - a wetlands area along the southern shore of Lake Erie in northern Ohio. Ottaw NWR is a large wetlands area, so it's difficult to get close to these large, wading birds. These heron and egret shots were taken with a Canon EF 70-200mm f5.6L lens with a 1.4x teleconverter all mounted on an EOS 50D (APS C-sized sensor) for an overall focal length of 448mm.
