Rosslyn Chapel was made famous by the Dan Brown novel. It is now a popular tourist attraction, located just a few miles south of Edinburgh Scotlan. Aside from that reason for Rosslyn to be a tourist attraction, it is a magnificent church, still in use today. The interior of the church, barred from photography, has a truly amazing extent of carved stone imagery. The carvings, which cover seemingly every square inch, is so dense and ever changing, that it is possible to stand in one place studying it and after several minutes still continue to see new images. It is a profusion of faces, demons, dragons, and floral images carved in stone. Near the chapel, there are also the scant remains of the Rosslyn Castle, but it is the chapel that is the star attraction and perhaps the most deserving place to visit, even above those present in nearby Edinburgh or anything else nearby.
