Sibenik, Croatia is a pleasant seaside Dalmatian town of approximately 42,000 people. The city has many old buildings that give it an interesting character, including the UNESCO World Heritage site of St. James Cathedral. Sibenik is a city well worth a morning or an afternoon of exploration. The old part of the city is entirely pedestrian. This page has photos of St. James Cathedral (aka St. Jacov Cathedral), built in the 1400s and 1500s and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the St. Lawrence Monastery, St. Chrysostom Church, and Sibenik's city streets.
