Sunset Photos
These sunset photos have been taken from around the world. Desert sands often create striking sunsets, so I've taken some at Death Valley National Park in California. There are also images from Joshua Tree National Park in California and Saguaro National Park in Arizona. There's also one taken near the great pyramids of Giza near Cairo, Egypt.

Joshua Tree Sunset
Joshua Tree National Park is famous not only for its Joshua Trees, but also for its beautifully colorful sunsets.




Riders at Sunset
A popular activity of Egyptians in Cairo is to ride horseback out onto the sands around the pyramids of Giza at sunset.




Sensuous Sand
The smoothly sensuous sand dunes of Death Valley are particularly beautiful at sunset when the orange glow of the sun casts its hue on the golden sand.




Lake Michigan Sunset
The western shores of Michigan provide excellent views of sunsets over the great Lake Michigan.




Saguaro Sunset
The majestic Saguaro Cactus in profile during a sunset at Saguaro National Park in Arizona.




Sand Dune Sunset
The sands of Death Valley are best photographed when the sun is low, such as at sunset.
