Zadar (Page 2)

The city of Zadar was important as a seafaring trade port as early as the 7th century BC. Today, it is a beautiful and modern city of Croatia that is full of historic monuments and buildings. The city is home to St. Donatus, a church built in the early 800's and St. Mary's, built in 1066. Other ancient buildings and structures date back to the early Roman era. I found Zadar to be one of Croatia's most enjoyable cities. See everything TheWorldinLight has to offer at Destinations and Topics.
